| | One day, so inspired to learn how to make Ramen soup after watching Ramen Girl in the cinema, I look up in Youtube for recipes....
And I stumbled upon clip a Korean Variety Show which was subbed in English by the author called Ramen Soup Sub. I watched it for awhile and soon enough I was hooked! Now I am practically watching 1 or 2 episode everyday!! This variety show is call Family outing!
Each episode never fail make me burst out laughing. LOL!
Family Outing (Hangul: 패밀리가 떴다) is a Korean variety show consisting of MCs, idols, actors, and actresses; it is part of SBS's Good Sunday lineup. In each episode, the "family" travels to a different part of Korea and lodges in the house of an elderly family while that family takes a vacation. During that time period, the "family" must complete the chores that the owner gives them. Each episode also includes a special guest (two guests were featured until Kim Jong Kook became a permanent "Family" member).
Permanent cast
Each episode usually starts with a call from Yoo Jae Suk telling the rest of the family where the next location is. Each member arrives and then is greeted by the episode's guest. Then the guest is given a map and has to navigate to the house that they will be staying in. Once they reach the house, they send off the owners on their vacation and look over the list of chores that was left behind for them to complete. After this, they begin with the first chore. While completing this chore a game is usually played in which the family splits up into two teams. Then after completing the first chore they either go on to the next chore, play another game or go to prepare dinner. When preparing dinner, the family splits up the duties once again. After dinner the sleeping arrangements are chosen. Lee Hyori and Park Yejin rank the guys in the family from 1 to 6 (or 1 to 7) based on how well they perform in the contests that take place. One is always the most desirabe spot. Then the guys rank the girls. The next morning the show's producer wakes up Yoo Jae Suk and gives him the instructions for the morning game. Whoever loses this game, has to make breakfast for the family (along with one or two people of his/her choice). While the loser makes breakfast the rest of the family either goes back to sleep, or completes another chore. After all the chores are finished the owners of the house return and family leaves. I loved every family member in this show!
