When will my big break ever come?

Its 2010 and I still cant believe it. It happens to me every year on the new year day.

2009 ended with a incredible, horrendous yet fun experience. A catch up with Ivan and getting to know 2 new found friend, Hanwei and Helai.

Anyway, Ivan brought me to BS. I thought my experience in SaLao with my classmates had me prepared. But I was way too wrong! That was no control! I was attacked by 5 surrounding me and I only have two hands. Being chivalry doesn't help either as I don't want to hurt any of them. So in the end, I manage to settle for one just to appease my friends.

Not much was know of her. I chose her because she is new. While the rest were being aggressive, all I notice was she being shy, clueless and all she did was hold on to my arm. Anyway, my friends commented that among all of our choice, she was the cutest looking one. Her name was Lili, petite (less than 150cm tall) and a young tender age at 19. We just snugged together, and thats about it. Comparing to Ivan, his hands were all over his partner's body and her clothes came off as easily as a banana skin.

She commented that I dont speak much and which is so very true. Neither does she, but I did try my best to initiate conversation.

I did enjoy her company. Somehow she made me recap what it feel like to have a girl in my arms, to smell her hair and hold hands with fingers interlocking. While it was reaching close to closing, she lay on my chest and have a quick dooze. Then I wonder that me being rogue, unattractive and shy could ever had a company of a girl permenantly. Her sisters called for her and she gave me soft goodbye.

Ivan commented that among all the girls whom came quickly and go, Lili stayed the longest. Funny.

The night ended with a supper at a nearby eatery. It was a great year, hope 2010 will be better...

The Last Day of 2009

2009 has been really eventful. Its been pretty good so much so that I dont like it to end.

The course ended officially on 26th where I did a presentation for my project. 有惊无险。I think my presentation skill is not really bad I think. Presentation was something i picked up during my poly days. I once read that a good presenter never to read from the slides. It will make the presentation boring. That what I have always been practicing.

Anyway, less than 24 hrs before the new year. Some of my resolutions.

Quit smoking: I really enjoy the sticks but a promise is a promise.

Start doing cardio more: I love weight lifting but I guess there should be a balance.

Get a Job: Need to start earning the bling bling.

Get a girl friend?: LOL! I'm not desperate but everyone has been urging me to find one. Hmmm... come to think of it, I'm been single for 5 years? Anyway, I'll take it as it comes. 有就有，没有就没有。

Guess that is all. Take a 30mins nap before heading out.

Christmas

Time has this cruel tendency of whizzing past and leave you stranded there wondering what had happened. One year passed so quickly and its Christmas again. It seen like a few months ago when I decorating Seraya's office with Christmas deco and receiving Christmas presents from the lovely people there.

Most of the time I feel like Scrooge when Christmas comes; No buying of presents and lock myself at home when Christmas arrive. Guess I will be doing the same thing this year.

The End, Part 2

Just when we thought everything was over after the exams, we realise we still have our final year project to submit...
So once again we found ourselves in Alan's crib, only this time we were rushing through out projects instead of memorizing from the notes.

Everything kinda end well for me, but not something I have pictured. You see, I'm that kind of person that like to prepare early, end slight early so I can R&R abit, take my time to print my project.etc. I did finished my project a day, then to realise I spend the last day helping comrades. It was a mad rush, and I didnt slept for more than 24 hours.

Printing at UltraSupplies @ Queensway is maddening. Long queue and they dont have enought staff to serve. Waited for 30 mins just to be serve. 5 mins to get the printing done. Damn it.

Submition went well, then we have a celebration lunch at Great world... by then I was so tired... I "concussed" at the dining table. My mates were stunned as they looked at me snoring...

The next thing I knew, I spent my weekend sleeping...

This is it...Its All Over...

Its all over... Finally but sadly...

Used to dread exams coming near but yet looking so forward of classmates' company @ KAP. We would find ways to memorize notes like a photocopier machine, always finding funny acronyms to remember pointers. I wonder how many sticks of fags have we murdered over the years.Studying was always fun with this group of friends. Notes were always so readily prepared as we shared notes so selflessly. That's what we call minimum input, maximum output. And each time term exams is over, I would so look to class again...

3 years, 9 semesters, 30 modules... 1 COT

Finally... no study sessions to look forward to... hell I'm really gonna miss those days...

I used to get really irritated when kids call me "Uncle"...

But now I am so thrilled when a unborn child is gonna call me "Mike 舅舅"

Excited...

I just have to accept the fact I'm getting older...

Last Day at Power Seraya

First started work in December 08, stopped working in March because of exams and continue again from Aug to today(2nd Oct). I gotta start my Military Vacation (aka ICT) next week.

Of all the temp jobs I worked so far, this is probably the longest period I had worked (5 months altogether)and felt kinda attached to. And the BIGGEST place I had work in. Its almost the size of half of Orchard Road (or even bigger). Bicycle or Golf car is your best friend if you wanna move around. Like what Yanxin said, it makes you feels like you are in a sci-fic movie. What do you do during lunch time? I played pool... Yes, almost everyday!

The people over there makes work so much enjoyable and fun. Most of them would speak to you with smile and render help selflessly. These are some of the people I would like to thank that made work exceptionally enjoyable and for appreciating my crappy jokes.

Time flys...

They say times fly when you are having fun, but times flys when you have a deadline to meet or when you are busy. Before I knew it, its friday!

Times really flys while working here in PSPS. Though pay is a miser, but the colleagues and staffs here are great and friendly. And I get to play pool every lunch time. At times it gets abit busy, but I like it cos time passes in a wink of eye.Too bad I gotta leave by end of september before serving my annual ICT and then prepare for the final exams and FYP.

Nowadays I havent been blogging much. Laziness is one of the reasons, another reason is that my life is too mudane and boring to blog.
